four-year colleges and universities should consult
the AGSC site for complete details regarding Areas
I-IV for all majors, including the list of approved
courses for each institution. Specific requirements
for students majoring in Biology Teacher
Certification at Alabama public two-year schools and
for UWA pre-Biology Teacher Certification majors are
included below.
Student
in a certification program also must complete a
professional studies component. Click HERE for list

AREA
I -- Written Composition (6 semester hours)
