four-year colleges and universities should consult
the AGSC site for complete details regarding Areas
I-IV for all majors, including the list of approved
courses for each institution. Specific requirements
for students majoring in Chemistry Teacher
Certification at Alabama public two-year schools and
for UWA pre-Chemistry Teacher Certification majors
are included below.
Students
in a certification program also must complete a
professional students component.
AREA
I -- Written Composition (6 semester hours)
AGSC:
No specific courses required for Chemistry Teacher
Certification majors beyond the AGSC requirements.
